Did we get your attention? No, we are not talking about that kind of affair! Instead, we are talking about this elegant event celebrating the anniversary of a local law firm here in Atlanta!
Who says corporate events have to be dull and boring. Forget the single candle centerpiece on the white or black table cloths. No need to create birds from napkins for a little umph when you can have gorgeous table centerpieces and textured linens available to you.
For this event, we created an overall design and look to compliment the gorgeous architecture of the Biltmore Ballrooms. With blooms in shades of green, whites, ivory, pinks and blues, we designed the arrangements to be both elegant and exotic.
For a heavy hors d’eouvres reception like theirs, table seating is limited so we added a tall, lush arrangements to the center of the food stations. They helped to anchor the room and give a touch of height & depth for the overall look. Plus you have to admit, it does make everything just a bit more dashing, don’t you think?
So the next time you plan your corporate event, avoid the ho-hum standard banquet look and add some special touches through your centerpieces and linens. Your co-workers will love it and your name will be all the buzz around the office…. all for the right reasons!
Recently we were given the opportunity to partner with Atlanta Wedding Magazine and many of Atlanta’s finest vendors to create an opulent look for their Fall 2013 issue. Needless to say, we jumped at the opportunity and our minds instantly began racing with ideas.
Our goal was to create a table that gave a sense of grandeur, as if we were dining with royalty. We paid close attention to every detail because luxury is all about the details. We added a gorgeous blue textured linen to create the base , then layered the table with colorful ornate china and topped it off with elegant stationary to tie it all in. The centerpieces were placed in tall gold containers to add some height and we filled them with soft white florals, greenery and added a few gold painted flowers to complete the look. Every item was plush and rich in color, giving the guest a feeling of being pampered .
The magazines will be on the newsstands soon so make sure you pick up a copy!

Even with the sun hiding behind the clouds, Jennifer and Kevin’s wedding could be described as one bright ray of sunshine! Their color palette of yellow, pinks, whites and greens beautifully complimented the scenery of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and brightened up the overcast day.
To distinguish Jennifer’s bouquet from the bridesmaids, we added pops of color through coral roses and peonies. Her bouquet flowers were varying colors of ranunculus, roses, freesia and billy balls. To create a cohesive look, we used the yellow billy balls in the groomsmen’s boutonnieres which added a dash of color to their sophisticated suits.
For the ceremony altar area, we constructed our popular birch arbor and accented it with floral arrangements in the wedding colors. To add texture, movement, and a little romance, we chose soft white draping to accent the arbor. To finish the look, we hung lush arrangements from the chairs that lined the aisle.
To set the stage for their romantic yet festive reception, we designed three styles of arrangements in various vintage glass and wooden containers.
Jennifer and Kevin were such a delight to work with and their wedding came together beautifully. To check out more of their gorgeous details captured by Artstar by Laura Stone we invite you to visit our real weddings page.

Alex and Zack’s wedding was recently held at Burge Plantation, a location that is near and dear to Alex’s family. They visited the farm on many family getaways and enjoyed horse back riding, fishing and lots of outdoor fun! So when it came to looking for the perfect location for their English country style wedding, they instantly thought of the beautiful 1000 acre farm.
When we met with Alex and Zack, they described the look they wanted as warm, elegant and romantic with English country inspired accents. For the bride and bridemaids, we incorporated a little blue thistle and pheasant feathers into their colorful bouquets to give it the perfect balance of country elegance. For the groomsmen and groom boutonniere, we choose a soft pink calla lilly accented with fiddle head fern.
For their ceremony, the wedding colors of yellow, pink, reds, blues and greens stood out in the two large arrangements at the alter and a rose petal runner down the aisle. We also added the wooden lanterns flanking the aisle to give a nod to their theme.
At the reception depth, we alternated the height of the centerpieces by using our tall votive trees and added willow branches to give the centerpiece a natural tree feel. The lower arrangements were low and lush with blooms in all the wedding colors including yellow & pink tulips, yellow & pink roses, blue thisle, red hyperium berries and seasonal greenery.
